NEW ARRIVALS

Our brand new Easter card captures all the excitement of the Easter Fairs that were once a familiar sight across towns and villages throughout the county - a sure sign that Spring had arrived! A lovely nostalgic card to send to family and friends...and a little reminder of the Easter Fairs

In this digital age, the sending of physical cards may be in decline — but when expressing sympathy for someone’s loss, nothing replaces the thoughtfulness of a handwritten message.
The image on the front shows Holywell High Street in the 1950s — instantly recognisable to many local people, yet evocative of any High Street from that era. The verse inside has been thoughtfully written, yet kept free of local references, so the words remain relevant and meaningful to family and friends near or far.
We are thrilled to announce that our new book for children is now published and available to buy from all outlets shown below.
This book was written by our esteemed group leader, and local historian, Andrea Yarnell Dakin. We believe it is the first publication of its kind to introduce children to the history that surrounds them.

Our birthday cards remain a firm favourite, and we’re always grateful for the lovely compliments about the verses — each one carefully written to reflect the image on the front. We hope you won’t need a Get Well card too often, but our design featuring Holywell Cottage Hospital, with its cheerful verse inside, is sure to brighten someone’s day. We’re looking forward to expanding the range soon, with cards for even more occasions — all inspired by the history and character of our town.

It may be the end of February, but you still have 10 months to enjoy our Holywell Then & Now calendar. We only have a few of these left - grab one while you can! The all-year calendars are also good for another 10 months. Display in community areas, to provide a talking point as people remember the many Holywell public houses from days gone by, or admire the selection of vintage vehicles that at one time would have been found trundling around the streets of Holywell.

Our Christmas cards sold well in 2025. These are available to buy all year round for those who like to get an early start with their Christmas shopping!

Discover the captivating memoirs of Cynthia Roberts, a cherished member of our community, who grew up in Greenfield Valley. Originally published in 1998 and 2000, these books have sold over 500 copies each, reflecting their lasting appeal. We are excited to announce the reprinting of these timeless stories, which offer a glimpse into a bygone era of Holywell. You can purchase these memoirs along with our other merchandise and take a piece of history home with you.
